Cluster headaches are some of the most painful types of headaches in existence, and it's very common that patients are on multiple medications and injections (without getting much symptom relief) before seeing us.  However, our treatment was made to deal with the most severe cluster headache cases. In effect, the treatment was made to get patients relief where other treatments couldn't get them relief.

Life changing therapy sessions with Dr Turner. Prior to going to Dr Turner I was experiencing daily headaches and missed work at least once per month with frequent debilitating headaches. I finished my therapy sessions about 3 weeks ago and have not had any symptoms. I was unable to do something as simple as jogging without massive headaches afterwards. Now I'm back on the treadmill working towards a 5k and have not had any issues. He's very friendly and knowledgeable. He does not recommend medication and really does get to the root cause of the issues. I would highly recommend Dr Turner to anyone experiencing back or neck pain or migraines.

The unique treatment at Texas Migraine Clinic has been life changing in the most literal sense. I suffered from headaches for 20 years, and they became worse as time went on. In years past I tried acupuncture, chiropractor, deep tissue massage, yoga, Ayurveda, hormonal therapy, aimovig, anti-depressants, triptans and an assortment of strong prescription drugs. Some things worked only some of the time, and the medications only caused rebound headaches and stomach issues. It got so bad in the last few years I could no longer work or even make plans because I never knew if I was going to be able to carry through. I ended up cancelling dinners and trips, and missing my kids' events. The techniques I learned from TMC are simple and extremely effective. Within a month of beginning the therapy my headaches reduced by half. Within 2 months I was nearly headache free, and even if I did get a headache the severity was minimal and did not require medication. Within a few minutes of practicing the movements I learned, the headache goes away. At the time of writing this I am going on 3 months since I began the therapy and I am no longer taking any medications at all. Dr. Turner and the staff at the clinic are so easy to work with and supportive, and they take the time to explain everything thoroughly.

TLDR; I would give it 5 stars if the program was geared towards neck and upper back pain, but I am giving it four stars as I did not experience relief for my (hormonal) migraines. I became interested in the program offered by Steven Turner's clinic after suffering with migraines for about 18 months. My migraines appeared to be linked to hormonal fluctuations, and I would have anywhere between 1-3 migraines a week during flare ups (typically two weeks each month). I also had recurrent pain radiating from my neck onto my scapula and shoulder that prevented me from working out effectively and were managed by massage therapy. During the initial assessment Steven Turner suspected I had a disk bulge in my neck, later verified by MRI, and suggested this may contribute to severity, frequency and how treatable my migraines were. My neurologist also encouraged me to try this program, but unfortunately it did not help with migraines. Both Steven Turner and Stuart Horton were very thorough, attentive and engaging. Their questionnaires and suggestions about ergonomics, exercises, supplements are extremely helpful. This program helped me with posture, neck stiffness and pain in my shoulder and upper back, which have not returned since starting the program. I recommend this program if your migraines or upper back issues are likely linked to bulging disks in the neck.

This has been a life changing process and I can’t recommend Dr. Turner and the amazing staff at Texas Migraine Clinic enough. I’ve suffered with migraines for decades and have taken meds for almost 20 years, to the point I was about to inject another med into my stomach for relief. Dr. Turner turned my life around and did it without having to take any medication. I am forever grateful for what Dr.Turner Has done for me.

I had a great experience with Dr. Turner and his staff. They are so friendly and helpful. My headaches/migraines were daily before I began treatment and now I am so much better. Headaches don’t interfere with my day to day activities anymore. I have tried several approaches—natural, holistic, medication, you name it. I am so thankful this therapy approach has provided me with relief from my neck, head, and back pain.

Dr Turner is absolutely amazing at what he does, and what he does is truly work on the root of migraines/headaches. I have had migraines since I was 8 or 9 (15 to 20 years) when I had a neck injury and most likely a concussion, I had tried so many different medications and treatment options with no real hope of getting rid of them. I have missed family weddings, family dinners, meeting up with friends, and calling into work from them that I didnt know what else to do. Dr Turner took the time to discuss everything with me and the first time I saw him back in 2018 I was having 5 to 6 headaches/migraines a week and after 4 treatments with him I didnt have any for 3 months! All this with no medications. Life gets in the way and I hadn't seen him since then but I'm so glad I got back in and am looking forward to get rid of them for good cause with 2 kids I dont have any time for migraines. If you are suffering from headaches or migraines give Dr Turner a call, you will be so glad you did!!! Thank you Dr Turner for helping me!! You are the best!

My experience with Dr. Turner and The Texas Migraine Clinic has been amazing. In a short time my migraine pain has gone from an 8-10 to a 1-3. Dr. Turner is a very compassionate, patient and understanding practitioner. I was at first skeptical about virtual appointments, and solutions that didn't involve meds, but all of Dr. Turner's exercises and small lifestyle changes have made a huge difference in my pain levels and in my energy! I am very thankful to Dr. Turner and The Texas Migraine Clinic!

I was initially a bit skeptical of this process as it really is not in my nature to reach out to a doctor in another state via zoom calls; however, I was tired of the constant migraines I was getting and was getting desperate to try anything that might help. I’m so glad that I did! On our first evaluation call (which was free so everyone should at least give the evaluation call a chance), Dr. Turner explained the physiology of what was causing my symptoms in a way that no one else ever had and it made complete sense. Each session for me was roughly a 30 min zoom call where we would talk about the symptoms I was experiencing and he would give me exercises to do to help. After only 4 sessions (and actually doing all of the exercises he recommended between each session), I could tell a huge difference. I had a situation at work that 100% would’ve caused a migraine in the past and I could feel the initial symptoms start, but the migraine never actually came. It was such an incredible feeling to realize that after experiencing migraines for nearly half my life, I may not have to any more! To summarize: I would highly recommend Dr. Turner and the Texas Migraine Clinic to anyone who is tired of dealing with migraines and the terrible impact they have on your life. The cost was very reasonable, particularly considering the long term migraine relief that I should experience. Dr. Turner is clearly very knowledgeable on the topic and everyone I interacted with was friendly and professional. I would definitely give them 5 stars!

I came across the information for the Texas Migraine Clinic after several different neurologists, several different migraine medications, and at least two other non traditional therapies, and no success. After watching the informative video, I learned I was Dr. Turner’s “average” patient: almost the same number of specialists, drug therapies, alternative therapies, even the average age (plus 1), so I decided to give it a try. The zoom sessions were informative and easy to follow; I didn’t even feel like there was a need to be seen in person. This program was the game changer for me. With all therapies, things may get more difficult before they get better, but they will get better. I feel confident that I am set up to make sure things dont go back to the way were upon graduation. And the best part? The staff! Dr Turner was friendly and compassionate, Annabelle was incredibly kind, and anyone else I spoke with treated me with a smile. Cannot recommend enough.

It’s early days, I have been at this for just over a month. After 6 1/2 years of trying to find answers it took Dr. Turner less than 20 minutes to find a solution to my intractable pain. I had daily headaches, severe pain at the back of my skull, pain between my shoulder blades, burning and electric shock pain on the entire left side of my face, and a horrible nerve pain going down my left arm to my thumb and index finger. I started my session with a pain level of 6 or 7 out of 10 and finished the session at a 1 out of 10. Gradually, with methodical sequencing of exercises, I have managed to stay around a 1 out of 10 or less most days. The thing I love the most about Dr. Turner is that he was frank with me about what he thought was possible. And he far exceeded my expectations. I will write again once I am at the three month mark or beyond to hopefully report continued success! I am confident in the healing process that Dr. Turner and Stuart Horton prescribe and I’m really happy to have my life back!! Ingrid

All of the women on my mother's side have had fibromyalgia and we assumed there wasn't a way to fix it because that is what doctors had told us. I would take pills after pills, hospital stays and even tried Botox but nothing would ever make it fully go away. Dr. T showed us there was. I now am migraine free after having a constant migraine for 5 years, and migraines before that due to my fibromyalgia. I am very thankful for all he did. He does a very thorough job of explaining what he is doing, and would answer all of my questions without making me feel stupid. Dr. T saved me from all the pain pills I was taking for my migraines. Instead of trying to treat me for my problem, he fixed the problem. Give him a chance and you won't regret it!

I’ve had migraines ever since childhood. I’ve tried multiple medications to decrease their frequency with no relief. Almost immediately I noticed improvement with Texas Migraine Clinic. After 6 weeks of treatment my migraine frequency and intensity has been drastically reduced. I’ve gone the past several weeks without a single headache. I definitely recommend this place to anyone who is a migraine sufferer.

After 40 years of migraines occurring 6-8 days a month, I've finally found relief! I've been migraine-free for the last 5 months as a result of Dr. Turner's treatment. I will admit that I was very skeptical, after having no results from visiting neurologists, chiropractors, pain clinics, etc., over the years with no cure - only treatment of symptoms. Dr. Turner's methods seemed too good to be true. I'm so glad that I gave it a try! I would highly recommend him to anyone suffering from chronic headaches.

Dr. Turner has helped tremendously in alleviating my symptoms. I began to notice an improvement immediately from the first assessment. I have only be doing the program for about 6 weeks, but have noticed a big difference. I look forward to continuing my exercises and making more progress.

I had a cervical problem, and I was in a lot of pain. I have seen several doctors and and the pain was the same . But when I saw Dr. Turner he was a super doctor! Without any drugs only with therapy solve my problem.

Before being referred to Dr. Turner and his staff, I had a migraine every single day from the time I woke up until I went to sleep for 4 months! I was beginning to think i was crazy, the way other doctors looked at me! Now I'm done with my office visits and I haven't had a single migraine in months!
